With no formal training in winemaking, music or fine art, Rainer says the three media are fully interchangeable. If you can do one you can do the lot. "Common to all three is the need for an initial impact followed by carefully constructed highlights punctuating a more or less neutral main body with elements of harmony and contrast. There is a need for intelligent handling of 'negative space'. All must be thought provoking, challenging and must finish extremely well." says Rainer. Here is this month's painting: |
